Recovery Facility"},"content":{"rendered":"<article class=\"article\">\n\t<header class=\"header\">\n\t\t<span class=\"type\"><\/span>\t\t<h1>Local Artwork Sought for New Treatment &amp; Recovery Facility<\/h1>\t\t<time>April 15, 2025<\/time>\n\t<\/header>\n\t<div id=\"block_f88f3ef6f26fc55f78020a8d8a3de0dc\" class=\"shs-block block-news-article entry-content\">\n\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"acf-innerblocks-container\">\n\n<p>Samaritan ArtsCare and the Pacific Communities Health District Foundation are collaborating on a project that will highlight local artwork inside the new Samaritan Treatment &amp; Recovery Services facility in Newport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Opening in summer 2025, this is the first residential and outpatient treatment center in Lincoln County serving adults 18 and older who wish to heal and reclaim their lives from substance use disorder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanks to the generosity of local donors, the PCHD Foundation will purchase art from both artists and art collectors, and will also accept donations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cArtwork donations will be accepted, but we also want to support local, working artists through purchase,\u201d said Karla Clem, foundation executive director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAn ArtsCare selection committee, which includes volunteer community members and Samaritan staff, will review proposals and make final selections of local artwork to create a soothing and healing environment for all who enter the new facility,&#8221;
